Abstract:

For the testing light penetration characteristics and cooling effectiveness for coating material used in greenhouse that vegetables Protected culture. This study is to compare different treatment in four greenhouses. In August 2013, the measured results show that Plastic films of different materials to get a different amount of photosynthetically active radiation into the greenhouse. PAP value compared with the outside world is reduced to 0.73 times for PEP2 plastic film, high-refractive film reduced to 0.68 times, PEP1 plastic film with shade net reduced to 0.21 times and KoolLite cooling film reduced to 0.42 times. About the temperature, compared to PEP2 plastic film, then the high-refractive film reduces 1.6℃, PEP1 plastic film with shade net decrease 2℃, KoolLite reduces 4.2℃. So, KoolLite cool film used for greenhouse of vegetable facility does have the cooling effect batter than the greenhouse use PEP plastic film with shade net.

Keywords: Greenhouse covering material, Protected culture, Photosynthetically active radiation (PAR).
