The 5th "4 per 1000" Initiative Day was held in Glasgow on Nov 10, 2021 virtually and visually. Dr. Hsueh-Shih Lin, the Director General of TARI, was invited by the Executive Secretariat of the "4 per 1000" Initiative to deliver remarks about the carbon reduction and carbon sequestration measures in Taiwan. As the member of the "4 per 1000" Initiative, TARI will continually participate in relevant international activities and research to achieve the goal of net-zero emission by 2050 and connect to global networks.
