The plant measures up to 35 cm. Each pseudobulb produces two flower spikes. The blooming lasts for one month. The inflorescence on top of the plant produces a multitude of about 76 fragrant purple flowers. The individual flower is about 2.3 cm long and 1.7 cm across. It is an ideal pot plant due to its compact growing habit.
