Abstract:

    A list of 42 species in 23 genera of Aspidiotinae (Hemiptera: Sternorrhyncha: Coccoidea: Diaspididae) with 391 slide mounted specimens deposited at Insect Collection of the Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute (TARI) is provided. The specimens were mainly collected during Japanese Colonial Period. Synonyms, host plants, distribution and photographs of slide-mounted specimen are also provided for each species.
