Abstract:
We reported that micropropagated Anthurium andraeanum during reclamation in greenhouse could produce vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhiza, if inoculated by Glomus intraradices, which could significantly promote the plant growth. However, a combined inoculation of rhizobacteria (such as phosphate-solubilizing bacteria and free-living N2 fixing bacteria) did not enhance the growth effect of G. intraradices. The external mycelium and the hyphae in outer cortex 2-3 layers close to epidermis were stained deeply by acid fuchsin, but those inside the deeper tissue could not be stained well. G. intraradices did not express its unique feature to produce spores within the roots of A. andraeanum.
