Abstract:
This study presents the importance of patent analysis to the agri–biotechnology industry by using patent analysis methodology, with “gac fruit” as an example. This study uses common procedure to acquire patent information relating to “gac fruit”. Along with industrial interpretation, patent analysis is conducted to observe “gac fruit” patenting status quo. Furthermore, key technologies and major competitors are identified to locate competition risks. Finally, this study proposed strategies and suggestions to domestic “gac fruit industry”, including sections such as developing directions and infringement risk preventions. This study is summarized by resonating the importance of patent analysis to the local agricultural industry, showing indispensability of patent information to the development of this industry in a general term.
