New record of a pest - Phenacoccus solani Ferris (Homoptera: Pseudococcidae) in Taiwan

Abstract:
The mealybug, Phenacoccus solani Ferris endangering on many hosts, was found in Taiwan in 2002. Some comments on morphological characteristics, geographical distribution, parasitoid and host plants of the insect were described.
