The variety is early maturing. The harvesting period in Taiwan starts in April with a stable yield of about 12 t/ha. And its fresh fruit have a relatively long shelf life. The fruit rind is bright red. The fruit is large with an average weight between 25-30 g. It contains about 70% of chewy-texture flesh (aril) with about 18.0° Brix soluble solid content and 0.20% acidity. The variety returns each year to bloom with low temperature requirement, around 22℃, for floral initiation. The variety will help diversifying lychee cropping systems.
