The variety is a large fruit type. Mean fruit weight ranges from 450 to 600 g. The orange or orange-red colored rind is thin and easy to peel. The fruit pulp is soft with juice content at 50-55%, total soluble solids at 9.4-12.2° Brix and acidity at 0.6-1.1 %. The flavor is rich and slightly sour with a strong citrus fragrance. Harvest season in central and southern Taiwan begins in middle and late December. On trees that bear less fruit, the fruit size is larger, with fruit weight reaching 1.0 kg, making it a good ornamental for special festivities.
